Athens International Airport is an important European airport located just to the east of central Athens. It is a new airport, as it was built to replace the older Athens Ellinikon International Airport, and is known by its official IATA code of ATH. One way services are when the vehicle is collected from one location but is then returned to another. Although rented cars may usually be driven to any town or city in Greece, they may often not cross over into any other country.
