AVIS Car Rental at Athens Airport

Athens International Airport (ATH), is also known as the Eleftherios Venizelos International Airport in honour of the Cretan political figure and Prime Minister of Greece, Eleftherios Venizelos. The airport is found approximately 20 km from the center of Athens, and since its passenger traffic totals over 24 million per annum, it is regarded as the 27th busiest airport in Europe. Driving licenses from many countries are accepted, but customers are also advised to travel with an International Driving Permit. Avis hand controls for disabled drivers may also be available with automatic vehicles.
